Exclusivio Wrought Iron Designs Built this steel braai for a client’s lapa.

A client needed a steel built in braai for a new lapa. Because Exclusivio prides itself in custom wrought Iron works, we made this steel built in braai according to the opening size, so it will exactly fit our clients dedicated space for his braai area.

The opening that the steel built in braai needed to fit in was 800 x 800mm. So Exclusivio used 5mm steel plate and solid 304 stainless steel grid with 8mm round bar stainless steel. It has 2 stainless steel handles shaped into a rounding, this allows easy access to pull the grid out when the fire is burning. The braai is also fitted with a charcoal tray that can be taken out completely for cleaning. To complete the steel built in braai it was finished off with an angle iron border.

The steel built in braai was painted with a special heat resistant black paint. The walls of the inside of the lapa is painted in a creamy colour, which makes the steel braai in black to stand out. Complementing the lapa that is was built for and makes is an inviting feature to the social area.

Our client wanted something plain and useful; therefore no curls or any other decorative steel images were used. This steel built in braai is designed for the pleasure of braaing and Exclusivio designed and made a practical piece with beautiful workmanship that our client can enjoy for years to come.
